Coles $1 Billion Investment

Coles Group installed two 3.5 MW rooftop solar systems at its Kemps Creek facility, part of a $1 billion investment aimed at achieving 100% renewable electricity. The facilities are one of the largest rooftop solar solutions in the Coles network, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. The company plans to expand its solar installations across 100 stores with a focus on reducing electricity consumption from the grid and improving energy efficiency.

Located 40 kilometres from Sydney, the 66,000 square metre building houses automated technology to enable four million cartons per week to be processed to service 229 stores in New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
