Electric Films documented construction of Ikon Apartments in Gosford using one long-term time-lapse camera. The camera was mounted first on scaffolding and later on the tower crane, providing elevated views as the building progressed.
Scaffolding and cranes move during site operations, making these camera positions challenging for time-lapse. We used specialised stabilisation and image-alignment techniques to smooth the footage and make use of these advantageous viewpoints.
