Interior camera mounting and exterior viewpoints
The four interior time-lapse cameras ran on batteries. A key challenge was
securing them to walls without damaging the surfaces. Graeme Beck used non-destructive
camera mounts, a speciality of his approach to filming on construction sites.
For the exterior shots, the available street poles offered a choice of camera positions. These provided options for selecting viewpoints to document the construction.
Monthly progress videos and a final marketing film
Electric Films delivered a progress video each month throughout the project. At completion, we edited the footage into the highlights film shown above for the client's marketing.
