Recording milestones along the rail corridor
The Epping to Thornleigh Third Track (ETTT) project is a completed $265 million rail infrastructure initiative that added six kilometres of new track along the western side of the Main North Line in Sydney's upper north shore. Delivered by the ETTT Alliance, including CPB Contractors (formerly Leighton/Abigroup) and Lend Lease. The construction included 6km of new track, three turnouts, bridge works and station works at Cheltenham, Pennant Hills and Beecroft.
Time-lapse cameras were fixed at key locations throughout the two-year project, with additional cameras positioned along the railway track and stations to capture different stages. The units were mounted on various structures using non-destructive mounts and were solar-powered.
